Saturday in Destin

Her first night away from home in a year was a rough one, but she awoke in good spirits. She approves of the view from the condo. She was telling Daddy all about what she wanted to do on the beach.
Daddy is showing her how to use the beach toys.
People watching
Ready to give those toys a try
It was overcast and really windy so Daddy decided that she didn't need her hat.
She liked having a bucket of water handy. She would wash the sand off her hands every so often and "wash her dishes." (Keep the toys she wasn't using in the bucket so they weren't covered in sand.)
People are cancelling their vacations because of the oil spill. Silliness!!
Our little girl didn't mind the clouds or the wind one bit!
She is telling Daddy something very important...now only if she would use words that WE could understand.

I wonder what they found.
Elliott waving at people as they walk by.
Such a Daddy's Girl
Chilly-cold after a quick swim in the gulf. The water wasn't too bad but the wind was!
Waiting to eat at McGuire's. Even though it is off-season, there is still a wait to be seated.
She is ready for the pager to go off.
Her right cheek got a little red from her rubbing off the sunscreen with her sandy little hands.
Finally time to eat! She kept waving and smiling at the couple behind us in between bites.
She just kept cramming food in her mouth.
Even Elliott has some standards... she wouldn't kiss the moose.
