Slip N Slide Party

Elliott went to a Slip N Slide party. It was more for the adults but the children were welcome to watch the Daddys play. Andrew ended up with a left flank abrasion from the 'improvements' made. They included 2 Slip N Slides, a child's pool and a front yard slope that ended with a wall of holly bushes. Tiny kept herself entertained while Mommy monitored the "tall children" to make sure no one lost a leg or ended up in the ER.
I was finally able to get a picture of her doing her Bear Crawl!

It's too stinkin' hot to do anything besides play in the pool

I love that crinkled nose! She got brave and put her face in the water. For Easter she had got that blue and green starfish tub toy that sprays water like a fountain. One of the best investments ever!! We did a little marine biology lesson while in the pool. Today she played with the hammerhead shark, dolphin, and pink starfish. (You can also see the yellow submarine that we used to explore all Cousteau style.) She also learned that Mommy Land Whales do not last long out of their natural habitat that includes air conditioning and root beer.
"What's that?"
"What's that?"
"What's that?"
Now multiple by 12 hours and subtract the time it takes for 2 naps and 4 meals.
She really wanted Daddy to come in and play with her. Yes, he is wearing a shirt; it is just hard to tell that he is. Very subtle markings like the difference between and coral and a king snake. Do you see ninnies? No. Then he is wearing a white shirt. He is multipurpose and works as reflective gear during evening strolls.

She got a pool!!

Daddy got her a swimming pool that she feels more comfortable in.
It took her a minute to warm up to it. But then there were no worries. I am sure that we are confusing her with sometimes you wear a suit when you are in water and sometimes you don't.
Tiny needs her sunglasses or hat because it is just too bright.

She said, "All done," when she was ready to get out.

What a mess!
