So to say that this morning was a rough one would be understating the situation. Both children were up and going by 7am which is normal. Sam wouldn't stop screaming. Elliott decided that she would be a human cheerios dispenser and put her bowl of cereal above her head and twirl. Then she reverted back to infancy and climbed into her jump-jump. Of course there was more screaming at this point because she got stuck and did not remember how to climb out.
She attacked the Christmas tree while I was cleaning up the cereal and pouring my second cup of coffee. There were more ornaments that she had chucked across the living room. Nothing was sacred.
While I was cleaning up the Christmas tree, she pulled the blankets off her brother and removed his paci from his mouth. Yes, he had stoped screaming. Screaming now resumed.
Punishment: having to sit next to her brother on the couch for 30 seconds.
It is now 9:30am. I tapped out and Andrew took over.
